Leading Means Making A Few Wrong Decisions

How do you know if you're making the right decision?

When I was younger I liked to camp. At one point I needed a new tent. So I set out to buy the best. After a bit of research I was still having trouble deciding so, I continued looking. Just when I thought I found the perfect one, I figured a little more research wouldn't hurt.

In the mean time, my buddy went out and bought the first tent he found. He didn't like it, so he bought another one. He still wasn't satisfied, so he bought a third tent. After buying and trying out several tents, he finally found the perfect one.

Keep in mind, my buddy was camping and I wasn't. I was still trying to decide what tent to buy.

Leading is about taking risks. How do you know if you're making the right decision unless you risk making a few wrong ones.
