Leading Is A Team Sport

I remember the day I was promoted to be a supervisor. I was so excited and proud of myself. At the time I was sure I was promoted because I knew the most. However, I didn't start becoming a good leader until I realized that I wasn't picked because I knew the most. I was picked because I knew how to put together a team of people who either knew the answer or, better yet, how to find the answer.

As a leader, you must learn how to work with a team. A well functioning team will always surpass the individual star in the long run.
