The Task at Hand is Job Number One
There is no task more important than the one before you. If you don't give it your all then quit it and move on to one you will.
We all have tasks we don't like doing. We either ignore them or leave them to the last minute. Some of these tasks if done early and done well would be quite satisfying. Nonetheless, the urge to postpone uncomfortable, difficult tasks is not easy to overcome.
For those that want to make a change, I offer the following suggestion. Focus on the desired result, make a plan and take action. The take action part is where you win or lose. If you force yourself to take action, the odds of winning increase substantially.
So when you accept a task, no matter how difficult or uncomfortable, focus as if it is job number one.
